Five spectacular species. Five corners of the globe. One breathtaking display.
Callicore excelsior — Amazon Basin — Jet black wings with a blazing arc of orange-red and a deep metallic blue sheen on the hindwings, with the famous “88” pattern on the underside.
Perisama bomplandii — Andes, South America — The largest of its genus, with dramatic blue-black wings swept by bold diagonal bands of golden green or blue.
Madagascar Sunset Moth — Madagascar — Widely considered one of the most impressive lepidopterans on Earth, its black wings blaze with iridescent red, blue, and green produced entirely by structural coloration, not pigment.
Cramer’s 88 — Central & South America — Black with iridescent blue bands above, and a vivid red forewing underside bearing the unmistakable black-outlined “88.”
Southern Dogface — North America — Bright yellow wings with bold black borders forming the unmistakable silhouette of a dog’s face, complete with a black “eye” spot.
Spanning Madagascar, the Andes, the Amazon, and North America, all five specimens are ethically sourced and ready to transform any wall into a window on the natural world.
