Four spectacular members of the sulphur family, each a different shade along nature’s golden spectrum — from pure cloud white to deep burnished gold — arrayed side by side in a sleek black 6×14 frame. Together they form a breathtaking gradient that reads like a sunrise captured in wings.

Anteos chlorinde (White Angled-Sulphur) — The purest of the four, this large, flower-shaped butterfly is the only white butterfly of its size in the Americas, with males distinguished by a soft yellow patch on the forewing. Its angular, pointed wings give it an architectural elegance unlike any other sulphur.

Aphrissa fluminensis (Rio de Janeiro Sulphur) — A jewel of the South American tropics, found in Costa Rica, Brazil, and Peru , this pale lemony sulphur adds a soft, luminous warmth to the collection — the bridge between white and gold.

Anteos menippe (Orange-Tipped Angled-Sulphur) — Pale yellow wings crowned with bold pale orange markings at the dramatically pointed forewing tips, with a cryptic leaf-like underside touched with pink. A butterfly that is architectural and vivid in equal measure.

Phoebis philea (Orange-Barred Sulphur) — The richest of the quartet: bright yellow wings blazing with a bold orange-red bar across the forewing and an orange-red margin along the hindwing — a tropical showstopper from Mexico to Peru.

All four are members of the Pieridae family, all natives of Central and South America, and all stunning examples of how endlessly varied nature can be within a single color palette.
